Tourism is still the largest employment sector within the state but mining is a strong contender. This state produces the fourth largest amount of gold on the planet. Both of these industries have a strong need for project managers with very different skill sets. They are needed to spearhead construction projects for the development of hotels, casinos, and other entertainment venues. They are also in demand to oversee mining exploration and development.
